These pictures are hosted on www.Flickr.com. I host most of our family pictures in Private folders on
Flickr, so you may been to sign up for the Flickr service (which is free) so I can add you to my "approved"
list, which will then allow you to see and download the private pictures I post. The image files on Flickr
are high-res - sufficient for ordering 4x6 prints at very high quality. This will allow you to order your own
copies of these digital prints without having to get the original files from us. Clicking on any photo below
will take you away from TheCopelands.net and over to Flickr.com.
Once we landed in Belize the trip started with a stop at the Belize Zoo, just outside of Belize City.
We stayed at a family-run lodge in the rainforest.
We spent one of our days tubing through an underground river system. It was really interesting, and the kids were great.
We also explored another cave (Barton Creek Cave) that holds ruins and remains from ancient Maya times.
Another day was spent at Rio Frio falls, where we all got to relax and the kids spent time sliding down natural water slides created by the various pools and waterfalls.
We went into Guatemala for a day exploring Tikal.
On our last morning Kim and the girls went horseback riding while Daddy checked out.
We left the lodge via canoe, and paddle downstream to the nearest village where we met our driver.
