Chicken Adobo - June

Sauté garlic in olive oil. When garlic is slightly brown add chicken pieces. Cook chicken covered over med/high heat until chicken secretes its own juices and is no longer pink. Add vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaves and peppercorns. Keep cooking until chicken is tender. Add brown sugar to chicken & continue the slow cooking process until it's time to eat. NOTE: Be sure adobo has its own sauce and does not become dry. Add soy sauce depending on your taste.
