Chocolate Chip Sweet Potato Pecan Pie - from Z'Tejas

Add eggs, sugar, syrup and salt, using a mixer blend until smooth. Mix in Rum, sweet potatoes and vanilla. Then slowly add melted butter until smooth. Divide chocolate chips and pecans into the bottom of the pie shells then pour filling over and place on sheet pan. Bake at 335 degrees for 35-45 minutes, until solid and golden brown. Serve at room temperature with whip cream.
